13. ONLINE ORDERS, PAYMENTS AND THE SERVICES WE USE
Added 5 October 2026. This section sets out the services we actually use to run this website and to fulfil orders.
Buying a drawing package
Our shop runs on WooCommerce. When you place an order we collect and store your name, email address, billing address, phone number if you give one, and the property details you enter for your drawings (project address, postcode, local planning authority, property type and your answers about previous extensions and planning restrictions). We keep a record of the acknowledgements you tick at checkout, together with the wording you agreed to and the time you agreed to it, because we need to be able to evidence them.
Payments
Card payments are processed by WooPayments. PayPal and Klarna are also available as payment methods. Your full card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by us or on this website. We receive confirmation of payment and limited information such as the card type and the last four digits.
Order confirmations, enquiry replies and other messages are sent using Google Workspace.
Enquiries
If you send an enquiry through a form on this site, including asking YPDS Architectural Services to review your project, the details you submit are emailed to us and stored in the website so that we can reply.
Checkout assistance
If you begin entering your details and do not complete the order, the information you entered may be retained so that your checkout can be restored and so that we can follow up about an incomplete order.
Cookies and consent
Cookie consent is managed using Cookiebot. The cookies this site sets are those needed to run the basket and checkout and to keep your session secure. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and only if you accept analytics on the consent banner. We do not use advertising pixels or session-recording tools.
Security and hosting
The site is protected by Wordfence and is held with our hosting provider, who processes data on our behalf to keep the site running and backed up.
Fonts
Some typefaces are served by Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address in order to deliver the font files.
PERMITTED and YPDS
PERMITTED is part of Yorkshire Property Design Services Limited. If your project is referred to YPDS Architectural Services for a planning review, the property and contact details you submit are shared with them so that they can respond to you.
